A unique example of one of Ferrari’s most impressive track beasts of the last decade just went up for grabs.
A 2017 F12tdf is currently being sold privately via RM Sotheby’s. The right-hand drive speed machine, which is from the model’s last year of production, features a one-of-a-kind spec and has barely been driven over the years.
Introduced in 2015, the F12tdf was the track-focused version of the then-flagship Prancing Horse, the F12berlinetta. The car, named after the Tour de France automobile race that ran from 1899 to 1986, was designed for the kind of Ferrari driver who wanted something that would give them a leg up during their next track day. As such, the variant features a more aggressive aero kit and a specially tuned powertrain that noticeably boosted the already capable coupé’s performance. The marque would build just 799 examples of the car, fewer than a hundred of which were right-hand-drive cars destined for the U.K. like this one.

This F12tdf was delivered brand new to the U.K. in June of 2017 and was then taken to Italy to participate in Ferrari’s 2017 Cavalcade in Apulia, according to the listing. It features a one-of-a-kind paint job that combines Azzurro La Plata with a French tri-dolor racing stripe. The paint job was inspired by one worn by one of the first 250 GT LWB Tour de France racers from the 1950s. The interior is done up Azzurro Santorini with splashes of Rosso Ferrari including a stripe down the center of both carbon-fiber racing seats. The vehicle comes with £57,000 (about $72,600) worth of extras, including 20-inch forged diamond cut wheels that hide red-painted brake calipers.
Under the hood lurks the vehicle’s 6.3-liter V-12. Thanks to a special tune, the mill now produces 769 horses and 520 ft lbs of twist (increases of 39 hp and 11 ft lbs of torque). Combine that extra oomph with the fact that the F12tdf weighs 243 pounds than the standard road car (the variant is still street-legal) and you end up with a vehicle that can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 211 mph. This example will likely have no problem hitting those targets since it has less than 550 miles on the clock.
