Apparently, Lamborghini’s interest in computers goes past those that help power its boundary-pushing hypercars.
The Italian marque has joined forces with Razer to create a new gaming laptop called the Blade 16 x Automobili Lamborghini Edition. The exclusive rig features a customized chassis inspired by the design of the latest Raging Bull, the plug-in hybrid Revuelto.
Razer is known for making bold-looking laptops and accessories, but the newcomer is a cut above its predecessors. This is mainly because the chassis is CNC-milled from a single block of aluminum, which makes it stronger and lighter than previous iterations. The laptop carries the Raging Bull’s unmistakable design DNA, too. The matte black body features Arancia Apodis orange accents, including a Lamborghini badge on the lid and a Y-shaped design that echos the Revuelto’s headlights.
The computer’s internal components have also been given a serious upgrade. In the place of a V-12, it has a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 HX processor with 24 cores, 32 threads, and a 5.5-GHz max clock speed, according to the gaming company. It also has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU powerful enough for gamers and creatives alike. Supercars artfully balance form and function, and it sounds like this laptop does the same.
The Blade 16 x Automobili Lamborghini Edition is also as rare as a supercar. Razer said it will produce just 150 examples of the laptop, each of which will be numbered. The machine also has a supercar-esque sticker price of $5,000. That’s $2,300 more than the base model Blade 16 goes for, but you’re also getting a much more powerful machine for the extra money.
If you’re looking for an accessory to pair with the laptop, you’re in luck. Last year, Lamborghini teamed up with Secretlab for a special edition of the Titan Evo gaming chair. Prices for the stylish seat range between $899 and $1,699.
