Lamborghini’s Racing Division Just Unveiled Its First Street-Legal Track Car

Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse motorsports division wasn’t about to let the Huracán’s 10th anniversary pass by without doing something noteworthy.

The Italian team has just unveiled the one-off Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario. The unique build is a heavily upgraded track beast that, surprisingly, is also its first street-legal vehicle.

Unlike so many of the special variants we’ve seen around these parts recently, the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario is more than just an appearance package. Squadra Corse hasn’t touched the supercar’s 5.2-liter V-10 (meaning it still produces 631 hp and 417 ft lbs of torque), but it has added several add-ons sure to boost its already impressive performance. These include new aerodynamic pieces, like carbon-fiber hood flicks and a revised rear wing that’s three degrees steeper than the one found on the standard STO. These changes will increase downforce, sticking to the pavement next time you’re trying to set a local lap record. Other modifications include an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, racing-derived shock absorbers, and four-way adjustable dampers. The vehicle also rides on a set of model-specific Bridgestone tires made from a special compound meant to better withstand the most punishing of track days.

The variant, which debuted at this past weekend’s 2023 Lamborghini World Finals in Vallelunga, Italy, might be the sportiest looking Huracán yet thanks to its new aero bits. Helping add to this is a racing livery that’s sure to turn heads. The car’s sharp-edged body is painted Verde Mantis green and Nero Noctics black. The bold combo is accented with a tri-color racing strip down its middle and a Rosso Mars red strop that runs along the bottom of the supercar and around its rear diffuser. Completing the package are a set of gloss black wheels and special “Squadra Corse 10° Anniversario” and Squadra Corse decals.

The interior has also been treated to a subtle — by Lamborghini’s standards — makeover. The cabin features Nero Ade black racing seats with Verde Fauns green contrast stitching, carbon-fiber flooring, and, naturally, a special plaque that notes the model’s unique nature. There are also four-point harnesses and an aluminum roll bar for added safety.

Because it’s a one-off, there seems to be no plans to ever sell the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario. But if it ever does happen to hit the auction market, you can expect to pay well over the standard STO’s $335,000 starting price to add it to your collection.
