Charlotte, N.C, is preparing to unveil a next-level automotive playground in the form of the Ten Tenths Motor Club, meticulously developed by the renowned teams at Speedway Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports. This haven for spirited driving will feature state-of-the-art member garages and a cutting-edge track.

At the recent soft launch, we had the privilege of getting an exclusive preview of the facility in action. Picture a $35 million assemblage of supercars, boasting a total of more than 15,000 hp, as set dressing. Iconic machines like the Ferrari LaFerrari, Lamborghini Sián, McLaren Senna GTR, and Porsche 918 Spyder were all on display, each an extraordinary example of speed and engineering. Some flexed their power on the circuit, while others stood as stunning works of art, offering a glimpse into the high-performance world Ten Tenths is creating for its future members.

At the core of the club’s draw is its triple-configuration track, designed by Formula 1 veteran and two-time Le Mans–winning racer Alexander Wurz. Spanning an impressive 42 feet in width, this lighted course showcases the latest engineering advances and even features an inner loop that’s water-irrigated for drifting and optimized for training in high-performance motoring. Professional drivers were on hand for hot laps, demonstrating what these machines are truly capable of as they dove into corners and handled the course’s elevation changes with ease.

When asked what members and visitors can expect from the club once it officially opens in April, Rick Hendrick hinted at even more surprises, saying, “We’re inventing every day, come see!” The club will feature a 20,000-square-foot base camp and a members-only garage. Speedway Motorsports will be managing the entire operation.

Of course, the launch would not be complete without a little help from NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, who had a hand in designing the track and was taking visitors for rides in the NASCAR Garage 56 Camaro that competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023. His presence further solidified the rarefied niche that Ten Tenths hopes to fill. The club’s official grand opening in April will kick off with the Smith Heritage Invitational, a world-class automotive contest that will undoubtedly draw car collectors, enthusiasts, and racing fans alike.
