The Interior of This 260-Foot Superyacht Can Take You Into Midnight or White Sand

Silver Yachts just unveiled two suitably sharp interiors for the Silver Edge superyacht.

The 260-foot model, which the Australian yard first floated at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2021, features a sleek aluminum exterior conceived by renowned naval architect and designer Espen Øino. The new living quarters are equally elegant but were designed by Pireddda & Partners rather than the folks at Øino’s eponymous studio.

The two concepts are at polar ends of the design spectrum and thus cater to different types of seafarers. The first, known as White Sand (pictured above), sits at the intersection of nature and luxury. Described as “sophisticated and delicate,” the decor pairs sandy wood and rough stone with swathes of natural antique bronze. The flowing, open-plan layout is centered around a large lounge and dining room. The two spaces are separated by a deep built-in sofa where you can relax after wining and dining.

The Midnight interior is suitably dark and moody.

In stark contrast, the Midnight interior (above) is dark and moody with an eclectic palette that showcases refined materials from all across the globe. Again, the layout is made up of vast open spaces but also includes private corners for more intimate gatherings. The TV lounge, for instance, features a bronze wall that separates the formal lounge from a more informal cinema.

Silver Edge can sleep a total of 18 guests across four guest cabins, three VIP cabins, and a generous owner’s suite with a private salon and en suite. There is also accommodation for 17 crew.

The exterior is nothing to sneeze at, either. The main deck is home to an expansive glass-bottomed pool, a winter garden for relaxation, and a plush lounge, while the sundeck is equipped with a Jacuzzi and alfresco dining area. To top it off, the aft deck sports a beach club, gym, dive center, and swim platform.

The vessel, which will be the seventh hull built by Silver and the fifth in the series, is expected to hit the seas in 2026. It is currently listed with Fraser and is priced at about $75 million.

“Fraser is very pleased with the new interior design and the synergy between Espen Øino International, Piredda & Partners, and Silver Yachts,” the yachting company said in a statement. “This shared vision creates a yacht interior that is both visually stunning and highly functional for the owner and guests.”

Now you just have to decide whether you prefer Midnight or White Sand.
