Ladenstein Yachts has a new flagship on the horizon.

The Austrian builder has just started working on the first Ladenstein 88 yacht in Bang Pakong, Thailand. (Ladenstein was founded in Austria in 1984 but moved its shipyard to Thailand in 1994 to reduce manufacturing costs.) The 90-footer is the largest model in the current Ladenstein lineup and offers ample space for entertaining onboard.

Penned inside and out by shipyard founder Markus Ladenstein, the L88 showcases the sporty lines of previous models and a sleek GRP hull. With a beam of roughly 23 feet, the vessel also features a generous interior that can be tailored to the owner. The “European,” “American,” and “Celebrate” layouts all offer between three and five staterooms, with the full-beam owner’s suite located on the main deck.

The sprawling main deck centers around a light-filled main salon with towering ceilings, full-height windows, and plush sofas. Other highlights include a retractable rotating television and a secret bar that appears from behind decorative panels with the push of a button.

Those aren’t the only Transformer-esque touches on the L88, either. The foredeck is outfitted with a sun lounge that can turned into a driving range or other sports area with, you guessed it, the push of a button. The sundeck, which Ladenstein says is one of the largest in class, also features an “innovative lowering platform” to help seafarers adjust the seating. In addition, the nearly 700-square-foot space is equipped with a Teppanyaki bar, an alfresco dining area, a Jacuzzi, and an outdoor shower.

At the aft lies a panoramic cockpit for alfresco entertaining and a giant beach club for sunning and swimming. Fitted with large sea-level balconies, the beach club provides direct access to the water and a garage with a tender and Jet Ski. Owners can also add a sauna, gym, or additional water toys.

As for grunt, the first hull will be equipped with twin MAN engines that will enable a cruising speed of between 23 and 32 knots and a maximum speed of between 26 and 35 knots. Owners can also opt for MTU or Volvo IPS engines.

The inaugural L88 is set to be delivered in May 2025. If you’re interested in snapping up the next, the yacht starts at $5.12 million.
