Officina Armare is aiming big with its latest superyacht concept.

The international design studio says the new 131-footer “embodies the essence of a private island,” allowing seafarers to live in the lap of luxury in complete privacy.

Christened Espada, the newcomer is characterized by sleek, flowing lines that come together to create a timeless silhouette. It also sports a distinctive reverse bow that gently slices through the waves to reduce the number of jolts and jerks at sea.

The salon features a wet bar and a dining area.

Spanning four decks, Espada offers a huge amount of space to relax and entertain both indoors and out. Her beam of roughly 31 feet results in a generous interior volume of 380 GT, in fact. The living quarters feature an elegant main salon with a wet bar and a swanky forward dining area. The interior is also outfitted with five spacious cabins that can accommodate up to 10 guests, as well as cabins for up to nine crew. Positioned aft on the upper deck, the lavish owner’s suite opens onto a private terrace offering sweeping ocean views.

Back on the main deck, a plush outdoor lounge lies under a striking glass swimming pool that throws dappled light on all below. Staircases located on each side of the lounge lead to the upper deck pool area where you can take a dip in the inviting water if so inclined. Higher still, the sundeck is home to a covered dining area with a bar and a teppanyaki grill for those sky-high soirees.

The aft is home to a beach club with expandable platforms and a swim platform.

Heading down to the lower deck aft, the beach club is equipped with bulwarks that fold down to create a sprawling, alfresco space. At the center, you’ll find a large swimming pool flanked by custom seating. The adjoining swim platform also expands out from the stern to ensure quick and easy access to the ocean.

As for grunt, Espada is powered by two powerful Caterpillar C32 engines rated at about 1,900 hp each that give it a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising range of 3,600 nautical miles. This means you can move your private island to anywhere you please.
