Tom Brady’s Old Rolls-Royce Ghost Is Headed for Auction

It would appear that retirement isn’t the only thing Tom Brady struggles to make up his mind about.

A practically brand-new 2024 Rolls-Royce Ghost purchased by none other than Tom Brady is currently up for auction via Sotheby’s Motorsports. No one will doubt that the exquisite saloon was once (briefly) owned by the seven-time Super Bowl champion since one of its bespoke details is his signature.

The Brady connection may be the car’s main selling point but don’t forget that the Ghost is pretty special in and of itself. The second-generation four-door, which is named for the legendary Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, is one of the most opulent vehicles on the market, offering up luxury and comfort that can really only be matched by its slightly bigger and more expensive sibling, the Phantom.  Built on the company’s Architecture of Luxury platform it also delivers power and comfort, the former courtesy of a V-12, that you can feel whether you’re behind the wheel or being driven by your chauffeur.

The example up for auction does have details that’ll please any collector who’s also a fan of the greatest quarterback of time. Brady’s Ghost is finished Black Diamond and features an extended chrome grille surround. The Grace White leather interior, meanwhile, is loaded with extras, including a bespoke dashboard clock, lambswool floor mats, a glass sunroof, a leather headliner, picnic tables, and massaging seats in the rear. The headline add-on, though, is a set of illuminated treadplates that feature the no. 12’s signature.

Like other Ghosts, Brady’s is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.7-liter V-12. The glorious mill is mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission and produces 563 hp and 575 ft lbs of torque. That engine figures to be in excellent shape too, as it’s barely been given a workout so far. The auction listing says the car has just 127 miles on the odometer. Other features sure to make the saloon a joy to drive include all-wheel drive and Rolls-Royce’s adaptive Planar Suspension system.

Already imagining what Brady’s Ghost will look like sitting in your garage? The online auction for the vehicle is currently live on Sotheby’s Motorsports website and runs through next Friday, August 23. As of press time, bidding had reached $400,000, which is around what the former Patriot and Buccaneer might have paid for the vehicle brand new.
